Anyone know if, like the LP software update, there will eventually be a software update for the voyager that has an arpeggiator?
Only Rudi Linhard, the programmer of the Voyager OS will know for sure.
so whatddup rudy?!?!?! where my arp at dogg???
Hi redeyefight,
an arpeggiator is the very last point on my to-do list.
Have fun,
Rudiiii
Hi guys – that my first post here since I got my Voyager Electric Blue two weeks ago. So hello!!! ![]()
As for arrpegiator – I found the Monomachine arp to be a perfect companion for Voayger – actually the whole mono sequencer is dope with moog – the ability to tweak CC’s sent to Voyager per step is really mind boggling.
Cheers
Marty
Hi All,
I’m a new MMV Performer owner, and it is a beautiful instrument!!
Anyway, I have a Yamaha AN-200 beatbox that I think could be used as a sequencer/arppegiator. Has anyone tried doing something like this, and can you tell us what your experience was?
Pleased to meet you all! ![]()
All the best,
Bob
I have the Yamaha RM1X. You can build loops in real time but can’t edit the steps in real time. However, you can build 16 midi sequences and switch from one sequence to the next in realtime.
Did you then use it to drive the Voyager?
Yes, through the midi port. Works perfectly.
Excellent!!! ![]()
thanks rudi,
looking forward to it once you get to it down on the punch list
Any news on the arp? We use sequencers now but a built in arp would be an awesome extra!
I think if it’s the last point on his todo list, we won’t get an arp in the Voyager. I’d rather see an outboard hardware(ish) step sequencer anyway, personally. Particularly if there is insufficient space in the OS storage and the hardware has to be upgraded.
