Anyone processing audio via Sub37

So I’ve just started processing acoustic instruments thou the S37 audio input. Great fun. I’m using a standard mic (SM57) and contact mics in to a looper to audio inof S37 and on to pedal board. I tried using the cp251 to various cv mapped inputs and mixed results. Overall it’s been working smoothly now I need to sort out whats works best and how.

The Int.patches are a great way to start just turn of all oscs and turn on fdbk/input and hit loop on amp e.g.. Or that’s how I’m doing it. Then tweak.

How is everyone else using the input? Any tips to share?

Hi slabwax,

Your volume will be more consistent if you use the Amp EG’s LATCH ON instead of LOOP.
Then, set the Amp EG’s SUSTAIN to 10 (100%).

I’d only use LOOP if I wanted to create a repeating tremolo that was sculpted by the Amp EG’s ADSR knobs.

Thanks Dan

hi,

i do exactly that but all i got it’s feedback. when i turn on the volume of the osc instead of the fdbk/ext in it’s fine :frowning:

update:

i changed something in my soundcard preferences and it works now!

if you have an UA Apollo Twin just go in Console and set “Cue Outputs” to “Line 3/4” et voilà!
