AniMoog sample based ?

Hi,

let me verify this.

I’ve understood that AniMoog is sample based instrument, is this correct ?
No VCO’s, DCO’s … just samples ?

How is the sound quality comparable to regular moog products ?
How is this better than buying a second hand Akai S3000 ?
Will it do 442-based tuning ?

I’m planning to use AniMogg as the third ‘missing’ oscillator in Slim Phatty.
Do you think it would work ?
