Brilliant Chris!!! This worked perfectly!!!
I was getting the same error and sort of tricked my iphone into connecting to the network MIDI using another app that uses MIDI (AC-7 Core). I launched AC-7, made the MIDI connection in Audio MIDI setup on the Mac, backgrounded AC-7, then launched Animoog and voila, my USB-connected M-Audio oxygen8v2 was able to talk to my Animoog on my iPhone (5.0.1) through my girlfriend’s mac (10.6.![]()
do you think AC-7 Core can solve my animoog issue? (here is my post http://www.moogmusic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=12711) thanks
Hi everyone,
I know this post is not quite about this issue, but would it be ok to ask you to share how you guys go about play Animoog from a MIDI keyboard (using Wi-Fi) inside Logic?
I can do it in Live, but the MIDI in/out process is a bit different in Logic..
I can get audio in Logic, on an Audio track, but I would like to be able to play it from the MIDI keyboard instead.
Thank you so much for the help,
Rui
Sorry if this is redundant or not pertinent.
In my own trials of network midi connection between 2 macs what I found was the target computer must have the drop menu item “who may connect to me” set to anyone.
