Is it possible to run 2 presets at the same time? Control one with a midi keyboard (Akai LPK25) and use the touch screen of the IPad for the other.

No, not currently possible to use two presets at the same time on a single Animoog. But that’s in the wish list though http://animoog.org/playing/wish-list/
