amp recc for my Taurus One

My new (old) Taurus One set is nearly rehearsal/gig ready.

NO I WILL NEVER SELL IT–down boy!

I was thinking of running it into my Roland KC 550 180 watts with a 15 inch and horn which also connects to my Roland KCW-1 subwoofer 200 watts with a 10 inch heavy magnet speaker.. both have DI for the house sound and I already run a few things into the 4 channel KC 550 synth and air synth and iBook mostly.

sound like a good fit?

Or should I just run it into one of my bass amps?

Or shoud I invest in an all new set up for these?

I think there are two devices you can use to determine if you like the way it sounds.

They’re called “ears.”

You’re the one who has to like the way it sounds…why ask someone else?

We don’t know what settings you’re using, and chances are we don’t have the exact equipment you have.

Use your ears, man! Use your ears!

Oh I will, I will. But there’s always somebody who has the engineering math who will say. this wattage, these speakers.. I’m open minded and open eared. thanks : )

With Taurus pedals, it’s not just your ears. It’s your body.

Through a decent PA system, Taurus I pedals can move chairs and induce rearrangement of your internal organs. Only Taurus pedals seem capable of that.

FWIW, I use a biamped system, basically a bass guitar amp - Bose 802 with Peavey 2x15.

absolutely.. my chest cavity rattled in over 30 concerts from Yes, Genesis, UK, Rush and more over years, why do you think I wanted these anyway? ah ha ha ha ah haaaaaaaa
