alternative to sacrifice noise knob for modwheel?

Hi,

To have the modwheel constantly giving max value I have assigned noise knob to modwheel, tweaked it to max and turned off the noise switch and saved that as my template.
But then I cant use the nosie oscillator…

How are people approaching this?

Thank you.

This might solve your problem and let you use the noise level knob:-

Go into pot mapping in the EDIT window, and then assign:

SRC: Mod Wheel Amount
Dest: Mod Wheel
Direction: Normal
Amount: 100%

You should find that the mod wheel does nothing and the modwheel bus amount knob controls the depth of modulation.

Thank you!

Did you find out that yourself?
Is this how everyone does it?

Its not my original idea, I just read a post years ago and this was Moog support’s answer. I don’t see why it works at all, but it does.

cool,

it works because the modwheel amount is set to 100% and then that value is sendt to modwheel

In the PANEL menu page 1.4 there’s a function called “HP → Mod-Wheel”. If this function is on you can use the head phone pot as a mod wheel.
Have fun,
Rudi
