I’ve listened to hours of the Moog One - I love it. However, I am having some trouble of finding actual songs and albums where the synth is used. Im aware of the Uncut Gems soundtrack which I find to be absolutely amazing. Im also aware of of Lisa Bella Donna’s “Explorations With The Moog One Electronic Music” which is also great. However, I would love to hear how this synth sits in a mix in genres that don’t lean as heavily into the cinematic side of things. The sound is so wide, and sonically it takes up a lot of space (as it should!), so I am curious how vocals and other instruments find room in the mix. I think a lot of vocals would work quite well when it’s showing its more “under water” characteristics, but I am a little worried how things go when it opens up, as it often does, on the bright end. I almost think deeper percussive vocals, like hip hop, could work well here.

Well in fairness that’s true for many polysynths,
it’s then about mixing!
This is the best demo ive seen yet.

Robert Glasper’s “F*ck Your Feelings” has it (you can see him and Herbie Hancock playing with it in the promo video) and he also plays it on a couple tracks on Brittney Howard’s album “Jaime”.

I made this a while back, only with the One and little bit of other drum samples (some high hats are the One too)
Hello, it’s relatively quiet here. I own a Moog One and would like to present something to you. Regards

Not that I’m anyone, but lots of my stuff over the last year has the One featured (somewhat).
hello, I think your music is great, also your collection of Synthesisers are great. thumbs-up
Thanks FGH - appreciate that ![]()
This is actually really nice
I use the one really a lot, but in this song, all synth sounds are Moog One. My favoured is the lead from 0:47 https://youtu.be/MdTH_MEXZdM
