Hello. JUST got a slim phatty couple days ago and have a question regarding it’s placement in my workspace. I have the SP installed so that it fits snuggly between my keyboard and my computer screen(on a shelf right over my keyboard and just under the shelf which supports my main monitor. I noticed that a small section of the SP is directly in line with the air conditioning unit which is a little over a foot behind the SP. I am worried it might be to close or perhaps borderline distance from the AC’s cold air flow. I wanted to know if this could affect the Sp’s tuning over time. I saw the temperature recommendations in the user manual and the room temperature will definitely always stay in an acceptable range but I’m worried about the drafts of cool air coming from my AC unit cooling the SP’s metal casing to a point where it could affect it’s tuning or even it’s performance.
I’d appreciate any input or recommendations if any of you have had your Moog synths fairly close to ac units in your studio
