(This one is on behalf of “khoral” från France, who’s account hasn’t been activated yet)
On a new LP Tribute purchase, the fine tuning don’t seem to work properly : more precisely, when I turn the fine tune knob all the way to the left, the pitch is still higher than normal (about quarter of a tone too high)
The OS is 1.03 and in the tuning mode, the set of extreme values I have is : -1024 to +1023, instead of -2048 to +2047 as stated in the manual (p.6 of the update edition).
Have someone an idea of what’s going on?
(note : I haven’t tried any autocalibration yet)
By all means, try a complete calibration. Afterwards, “concert pitch” should be found at the center of the Fine Tune pot’s range.
As for the range of the fine tune, the manual is in error. -1024 to +1023 is the correct range. This corresponds to a Fine Tune voltage of -2.5V to +2.5V, where the other controls have a range of -5V to +5V. I will make sure this is corrected in the manual.
Please tell “Khoral” to e-mail Heidi(at)moogmusic.com directly, with the email address he used to register. His registration must be approved manually, and it must have been overlooked by mistake. Heidi can fix it.
Cheers!
