i’ve been considering getting a theremin, and i happened upon the etherwave kit… this appeals to me, as i enjoy working with my hands and the savings are attractive..
however, the price is still a tad outside by current budget.
so, i was wondering if an etherwave kit is available that still has all the components, but instead an uncompleted circuit board. think something like the old heathkit-kits, big box-o-parts sort of thing.
does/could such a thing exist.
i should add that i know i could make a “theremin” in an altoids tin or otherwise, but i’ve been looking at etherwave’s for a reason, donchaknow. 
I don’t believe the Etherwaves come in a kit as such, you’ll want to give them a call and ask if they’ll do it for you, but I’m betting it’s all assembled already. I’m sure you know of the Paia Theremax which is more like what you want, but it’s obviously not an Etherwave.
