A question about Theremin use.
I’ve been thinking long and hard about added a Moog Theremin into my rig.
My musical duo Life In Balance has developed a meditative ambient sound utilizing long sustained floating tones.
My question is this: I’m interested in using a Theremin as a controller for my Moog Voyager (version 3.1). Will the CV outputs of the “Etherwave Pro” allow me to do this?
Will I be able to “play” the voice patches on the Voyager by using the CV outs on the Etherwave Pro? Has anyone had any success with this?
I’ve contacted Jim from Bemus Point about this issue and he has had some success with interfacing the two instruments. He has had a lot more success making a connection via the “Wavefront MIDI-Wave” device.
I’m not sure I want to go this route.
