A musical plunge into my world

So.. After 5 years of trying to find my sound through the endless world of digital technology, I decided to buy the MF-101. REVOLUTION!!!

An empty bank account later, I found my sound using moog gear exclusively.

Im currently looking for musicians to join me on stage, so I recorded a little bit for the interested ones to hear.

I thought Id share it with you guys.
Everything is moog, and its all 100% improvised and tweaked in realtime.

Acoustic drums and oscillators.

I dig the hell out of that…very funky.

Far out, dude!

bravo!

Great bits… I’m looking forward to hearing more

BTW how do you perform? Live drummng while driving the Moog with some midi devices? Preparing some sequences and live drumming afterwards?

Thank you all for the kind words.

@ stiiiiiiive
I use two launchpads (programmed with bomes midi translator+ableton) to control 4 sequencers on 4 different channels + 2 arps.
This is set up so I theoretically can sit down and improvise a full show with nothing planned or prepared.
It works best when 50% of the midi-sequences are made and rehearsed up front. The rest is improvised.
Its alot to keep track of while plaing the drums, so from time to time weird things happen. But thats exactly the point.
Its aliiiiiiive!!

Yeah, it feels so

4 sequencers and 2 arpegiattors: how many Moog synths/Foogers do you drive then?

One slim phatty, a theramin and 5 foogers. 101,102,104,107,108. ..and the mp201.

nice work! if you want to play a gig in reykjavik i will find people to join you in improvs. rgds, sid

I will definitely contact you when the day comes.
Thanks a lot!!
Cheers

Though I`d show what this stuff looks like in action..
Its basically just me practising.
Nothing planned or rehearsed upfront.

Nice once again

Thanks for the video  You’re essentially doing what I’d like to over here in Oz, and hark back to the days when Klaus Schulze sat on a rug on stage with his huge rig and simply “evolved” in front of an audience. One thing I’d love to do is drum. One day

I’m loving this stuff, thanks for the video insight into your set-up and creative process. It really makes me want to get a drum kit! (& then learn how to play it!)

Thanks a lot. Ive completely lost objectivity on this stuff, so I appreciate your kind words.
