A few sketches done with CP-251 & Freqbox

…and a lot of delay  namely EHX Deluxe Memory Boy + TC Electronic Flashback + guitar on one track. These are unfinished ideas for a few patches I made. Would love to hear what you guys think about them.

This is my first post on the forum (been lurking for a few months – such a wealth of knowledge here…), but don’t be gentle with me

Well, someone had some fun with the foogers.

How did you control the FreqBox pitch? Sounds like it´s different for each track. Drums, guitar and CP-251.

sounds like something you would hear in the background of early doctor who or twilight zone episodes. i like it

I sure did

S&H 1 OUT → Att 1 IN → Att 1 OUT → Freq IN. The “pattern” played depends on the position of the Att 1 knob - for taming the range of pitches I usually use something between 2 and 4 o’clock. Inverting the CV also has some nice musical effects. Also, plugging Freqbox’s OSC OUT in to S&H IN makes the thing more repetitive and musical. I’m new to this game, so these are just newbie’s observations

I usually name my tracks with the names of the gear used (as notes - to be able to recreate them later): mf (Moogerfoogers), dmb (EHX Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Boy), tcf (TC Electronic Flashback), gt (guitar). No sequencers, no drum machines, no multitracking, all in one go.

If anyone’s interested, I could post some patches.

Thanks for nice words, guys!

Cheers,
Lukasz
