And fwiw, powering up solid state gear using a variac may actually be harmful.
Not as much so (or at all) for tube gear.

Synth needs a lot of TLC judging from the condition too, but I doubt it matters as it may all be a scam anyway.

That 2nd Korg Oasys has a very interesting picture too.

I’m local so it has my interest if it stays cheap.

Edit: hope it can be had for cheap. Asking $2000

More than likely some type of phishing scheme?
And a hi-jacked Ebay account.

Anyhow that was the dead mouse Moog auctioned off twice a few months ago.
The original auction closed at $7,655.00, but the buyer backed out due to the discovery of a dead mouse inside the old Moog.
Original listing here:First auction Moog 12
So the seller listed again, explaining the mouse discovery. The Moog then sold for $9,467.67. I was surprised it went for more than the first auction. The Ebay market seems to dictate that a Moog is worth more with a dead mouse in it?
Listed here:Second auction Moog 12
Seemed like a valid auction and was finally sold. That new auction is just lifted from the dead mouse Moog.

EDIT: I would not recommend E-mailing this seller. Probably what they want is your Email address and will no doubt send you a virus infected Email. Probably how they hi-jack so many accounts.

I just ran that email acc…
he’s a scammer

That was the same URL I posted above.

Anyway, I checked out his last 200 sales auctions and there were only two items sold that exceeded $200.
Everything else was mostly in the $10 to $50 range.

Sorry Kevin…didnt see that link
it seem that the acc’ holder is a husband and wife team…and not named “DAVID”

ALL of his listings have been yanked.

Whatever will I do with my powerball winnings now?

Dang it, Eric, I thought this might be a long-shot solution for you. Next time, buddy…

There was either a system 12 or a system 15 not too long ago that was about 2 hours from where I live.
