Well, today the ‘C’ frames arrived that I ordered from Ben at Re-Synthesis, so the 702’s don’t look as ‘half built’ as they did… although I still need to finalise and fit my vero-board circuits though, but it’s getting there…! So then, here is the 702, now using all three oscillators. In my earlier demo I used just one but since then it has become apparent that these oscillators interact. I had built an LFO and went quite wild with it before on the single oscillator - but I feel that this module is supposed to be a little more subtle…!? We have the 701 for wild - this one has a more ‘rhythmic’ flavour - or so I think, after working on it. We shall never know for sure exactly what Bob had in mind for this module and I am also going to incorporate some of my own ideas. For example an actual “audio delay” for each oscillator - hence the delayed LED circuit you see here - it will also switch a relay. And a few times you see me turning the LFO speed (on a loose pot) during the sounds decay. I am also going to fit another EG to either sweep the speed up or down with control over the rate. It seemed to make sense…
