Still Miss you Doctor Moog
The legacy will never die.
Dear Dr. Moog… in every little note I play, in any little knob I twist, there’s a whole lot of you.
My favorite personal recollections of Bob were various emails we shared and the stories he’d tell over dinner. He was much more relaxed then versus the demeanor he had when giving a speech or presentation.
Bob could speak very .. umm.. “colorfully” at times. 
From an engineering point of view, Ive found his designs to be economical and always geared towards the musicality of a product or feature.
He embraced a pragmatic approach that attempted to span the idealism of a concept and the actual building of a viable product.
His choices in controls and controllers was especially notable.
I don’t know anyone who offered as wide of a range of controllers as Moog did.
Rest in Peace, Bob.
A great man…and a great inventor…we miss you Bob…
