Hello there, I already have the MF101-102-103, preordered the 104z and i’m thinking of getting a CP251. Now that my equipment table is getting crowded I started thinking about getting the rackmount units for my moogerfoogers. I know i could fit three pedals in a single rackmount kit.
Do you guys know if two (2) Moogerfooger pedals and one (1) CP-251 will fit in a single rackmount kit?
You should be fine. The rackmount kit can hold either 4 control processors or 3 moogerfoogers. So judging from that it should easily have enough space to hold 2 Moogerfoogers and 1 control processor.
I don’t know about that. I’m looking at my rack mount kit and judging by the holes it doesn’t look like you would be able to fit 2 MFs and a CP. Maybe 1 MF and 2 CPs.
The only way to rack two MFs and a CP together is to mount the CP sideways. The rackmount frame doesn’t have holes to mount a CP sideways in this configuration.
But, I’m not afraid to drill a few simple holes in the rack frame. (5 for the CP-251 and 4 for the middle Fooger so I could move it over and leave the wood cheeks on them all.)
Nice. I’m still wondering if anyone has a rackmount set-up with one fooger and one or two CP (or VX or a combination of both) units (with the CP/VX units mounted normally/not sideways) as per the rackmount advice? …and if they could share pics please?
I don’t have a pic, but had them that way for a while. VX and CP with a 104Z. Sold that 104Z and now the VX and CP are just sitting on a bar on my Ultimate Supports rack.
Ha, thanks Just Me - it’s nice to know someone’s actually had these particular moogerfoogers in that configuration, all the images I seem to be able to find show the CP sideways.
When you do it, Leave all the cheek blocks on the Foogers. There will be a 2" gap between the Stomp box and the CP/VX combo. (A good place to DIY a Multiple module.)
