I played a Mexican Strat into the MF-104M, out of the 104M into the Clean
Channel of a Fender Super Champ (no effects).
What’s especially interesting is just how “Stereo” some of these examples are.
To prove that it’s just an auditory illusion, I made all of the examples as Mono MP3s.
Very cool…doesn’t help my GAS one bit…haha! Btw, do you find it pretty easy to get classic feedback oscillation with the 104m or is it a bit more polite?
It’s very easy to get full-on and even escalating feedback on the MF-104M.
Depending on the Delay Time, Filter setting, etc., you can get equalibrium
between 2:00 and 3:00.
Anything past that is going to grow rapidly. It’s crucial to have leftover room
on your Feedback knob as it will allow you to ressurrect an almost entirely
faded loop and bring it back to full volume.
Sorry to keep bringing it up but, if you listen to my audio demos, you’ll be
able to hear quite a few examples of this trick.
I saw the On/Off Bypass mp3 and the lack of noise really suprised me. Is the signal/noise ratio a big step up from the 104z? I find the noise really annoying on the 104z delay, considering its worth so much. I know its the nature of the beast, but it does suck.
