It works, you have to buy the reverse polarity adapters. You may get some hum though, YMMV.
thanks!
— Or make your own “reverse polarity adaptors”, not hard at all.
…well its that hum that bothers me…
too many pedals too much hum already…
Get some more adaptors or the OneSpot that you describe. Hum is often caused by over-drawing current on the transformer or regulator by connecting too many units.
I have a 1 spot that I use with other effects - when I use it on one effect it’s usually fine but adding more than one produces hum depending on the effect. I’ve isolated it down to just the 1spot and the effects and it still hums. I’ve decided it’s better for me to just buy larger/better power strips and use the transformers that came with each pedal instead. The 1spot is a great idea and if it works for you then go for it but no go for me.
i’m afraid it wont work for me… I guess I’ll go for the voodoo lab or the dc brick both waaaaaaaaaaay expensive…
thank you ALL for the replies!!
any more suggestions are welcomed
I’ll tell you what I do…but you’ll probably laugh at me. I use all the original wall warts and a power strip. Belkin makes a really nice one with six rotating outlets and two stationary ones. It’s about 40 bucks. I have one although currently I’m using my old Square D for my 'Foogers. Three adapters fit perfectly on it. ![]()
