My phaser died on me today. I powered up the pedalboard, was playing, hit the bypass switch to activate the loop the phaser is in, and got nothing.
When the pedal is engaged no audio passes through, and when bypassed volume is cut about 50% and distorted. In my limited experience it sounds like the preamp is blown or something along those lines-- at least this is what it sounds like when bypassed.
Anyone had a 'fooger die on them like this, and what was the cause/cure?
Im just going to bump this once-
So anyone have any experience with dead 'foogers? What was the cause/cure? Did you send it to Moog or elsewhere, and how much was the repair?
Sorry to hear about your broken pedal. I’ve had excellent service from Moog. Either give them a call or contact them their website.

I was having similar trouble with my 104Z. I replaced the plug from the bypass switch to the pcb with a new one and bent the pins so it would not be pressing the bottom plate. Glued it down and all is golden. If you dont have spares or access to the tool, you can try just inverting the plug you have and making sure the wires are seated tightly.
