Re: Share your synthesizer music!
here's a new one! (used an electro-harmonix 8 step for the sequenced lead parts with the voyager old school- looped the intro drum beat from "Superstition"- real bass + moog, guitar, and moog on the rest) https://moped10.bandcamp.com/track/traction This is great! I'm a huge fan of your wa...

Not one bit of Moog on this one. DX and Juno. A good tune to dance with your cat to.

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
I suppose this could have been tied in with a "post your latest purchase" post, maybe I'll get to that later. I got an Arturia Microbrute a few weeks ago and I love it. Can't get enough of it. Anyway, I'll use the proper thread to gush about my new gear. Here's a piece of ambient music I d...

Re: Parallell Voyagering!
I never really thought the Voyager was a synth that "punched through the mix" very well. That's not really a bad thing, just tends to blend in a little more. I think the Voyager is the one Moog synthesizer that sounds the least "Moogy". The Phatty series are a lot more aggressive...

Re: New ARP Odyssey synthesizer!
Just go straight to the source 8) http://thehumancomparator.net/ I fail to see how this is relevant to the announcement made by Korg this morning. As I have only ever experienced the Odyssey through recordings and Youtube demos, I can't wait to finally have the opportunity to get my hands on a bran...

Re: sub 37>>>next synth: sub voyager or poly?
Good post! The Voyager is getting old. It's been in production from 2002-present, which is a lot longer lifespan than most other analog monosynths have had. Longer in fact, than the life of the original Minimoog by five years. We are starting to see a lot of cheaper monosynths crop up with cool func...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
I have spent a good bit of time with the polyevolver, but being limited to 4 voices on a modern synthesizer is frustrating. I like the P12 a lot though...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
Kenneth, we haven't heard your P6 in awhile. Did you sell it? Yeah, I did. I loved the sound of it but there were other aspects I was not so fond of. The keybed feels terrible (just like the DW8000, Poly800, Poly61...), no glide, and kept having to have my contacts cleaned (twice in six months? NO....

My jaw was in my lap throughout that video. Moog have done something really special with this one. I will buy one, and I can't wait to touch one in person.
