Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
Simply: An eq in the synth effects section. Less "effecty" than trying to use the resonator as such.

Re: Moog One vs Other Polysynths
It is capable of so much, that you need to make it sound the way you wish. I don't think the One is capable of sounding exactly the way I wish, no. Because it can't sound like a polyphonic Minimoog D, or at least a Memorymoog. Which, for that much money, it should have been able to. About that you ...

Re: Moog One vs Other Polysynths
I wouldn't go as far as to say that the Moog One is a turkey. Not at all. It's a fantastic machine, with literally tons of possibilities. But maybe the engineers got lost in the features and forgot about the fondamental building block: the sound ? Anyway, I sincerely hope that everyone who gets one...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
This is somewhat redundant, having said similar a few posts up, but is I think a better explanation, cut and pasted from another forum. I posted a feature request on the Moog forum, that seems both doable and useful. I would like a setting on the envelopes with polyphonic patches to basically make t...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
This seems eminently doable and useful: The equivalent of single trigger for envelopes on polyphonic patches. So basically, like a mono patch's single trigger envelope, it does not kick off if the key that triggered it has not been released. This allows you to play phrases without kicking off say, t...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
I get why the inserts are necessarily post filter for polyphonic patches. It would be SO great to have it be available pre-filter for monophonic patches. I do not know that this is physically possible, but if it is, please consider it. My already solid love for the Voyager kicked up a few hundred pe...

Re: Moog One Effects
Hello all, 2nd edit: listening to the phaser fully wet (mix 100%, gain 100%) on synth effect, it seems to have dry mixed in. A fully wet phaser shifter sounds like vibrato. This sounds like a regularly mixed phaser, but the volume is way dropped compared to bypass. Excellent and very thorough post....

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
Allow a modulation to increase the oscillator level beyond 100%. Hi psionic11, That's already easy to do: MOD Source = CONSTANT Value = any number from +1% to +300% MOD Destination = MIXER OSC 1 Level That would work on paper, but the level stops increasing as you raise it. I think the idea here wa...

Re: Moog One SOURCE Requests
I have used smoothed S&H (present in the Moog One) as a modulator to panning on the Voyager. It's a cool effect. Polyphonic smoothed S&H -> panning -per voice - would be a major head trip. You can do that now. Set the S&H LFO to be per voice. (The reset on key function in the LFO more p...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
More detailed control over velocity curves would be a serious improvement for those of us that are piano/keyboard players more than or in addition to programmers. It is hard to get some patches to articulate the way one might want, and have good control of a wide dynamic range. Stereo spread by voic...

CC74 will be important for MPE if/when it happens.Deva wrote:Some Source suggestions:

I'd take this one step further and allow any incoming Midi CC#. I know that some of the Midi functionality is being worked on still.....

Re: Moog One vs Other Polysynths
I thought I'd have my One by this weekend, but shipping has been pushed back to the 29th. :( Nonetheless, one thing I plan on doing is comparing The One with my Voyager, P6, and OB6. In part, because even though I sold enough gear to pay for MOST of the One, I think I may sell a bit more to make it ...

The One with Eurorack
As a non-modular aficionado, but with some semi-modular gear lying around, what are some of the compatibility issues one might encounter setting up a small eurorack system to interface with the one. Is the one configured to better interface with 5U Moog format modules? I was already planning on sett...

Re: Moog One SOURCE Requests
Did I write voice count? I meant voice number. Hi MC, my bad. I missed what you were asking for. So you're talking about a value that represents which particular voice card of the 16 (or 8 ) voice cards is firing as a modulation source? The Deepmind has this capability and it is useful doing things...
