Re: just when I think I'm getting a little bored of the voya

So the MOD1 & MOD2 are outputs from the voyagers MOD busses?

If so, how does the amount work when you use them?

Re: Voyager and gigging

I was looking at getting one of those ATA or ATA style cases as they seem to be really good at protecting the Voyager. Whenever I take mine with the gig bag, I never put anything near it ie. just lay it flat on the back seat etc. The main problem with taking the Voyager to gigs for me is that it goe...

Voyager and gigging

Hey guys,
I was just wondering how many gig regularly with their Voyagers? How do you transport it to gigs?
I normally gig 3-4 times a month with mine, using the soft bag.

Re: Why should i get a Voyager?

Hey XAXAU, I have the EB Voyager and am planning on getting the SUB37 when it comes out. Even though I have a few moogers, VX351 and the CP, I find that since I mostly focus on making sounds that I can use to play live, the moogers,vx and cp rack is of no use there. If I didnt have the Voyager I wou...

Re: Voyager tuning: OSC1 range not sufficient

Thanks Rudi, Its that time of the month/year again where I need to tune my EB. In the past I used the procedure mentioned in the beginning of this thread but the tracking would not stay consistent for long. I will tune it this weekend using your instructions. Thanks again! Nik Hi Nik, yes. Here are ...

Re: Voyager tuning: OSC1 range not sufficient

Hi Rudi, Can this procedure be applied to OSC 2 & 3 respectively? Thanks, Nik This is the right procedure: 1.) Set the OSCILLATOR 1 OCTAVE Switch to 8’. Depress and release the lowest E key. Adjust Oscillator 1 Range (RT2) so the pitch is exactly the E below middle C (E3) (that is, the tuner pat...

Big Briar MF103 vs Moog MF103

Hey guys, I have the Big Briar version of the MF103 (the one that has Bob Moog written on the front) and I was wondering about something that I saw in a video on Youtube. Namely, the newer versions of the MF103 that have Moog written on the front seem to have a feature on the LFO that restarts the L...

Re: mod wheel fix

I would also like to know if the mod pot is replaceable. Depends on your skills. If you are able to solder and re-assemble the wheel mechanism, should be no problem. For a drop in solution, the upgraded aftertouch would be the way to go. Moog music seems to believe this is the solution, as the afte...

Re: mod wheel fix

Hi guys, I would also like to know if the mod pot is replaceable because on my Electric Blue when a function is modulated by the mod wheel it scratches just above 0 and its getting really annoying. I started considering to get the after-touch mod for the sake of the mod and to get rid of the scratch...

Re: prototype

This is sooo exciting!! The thing sounds absolutely huge! Love the aggressive in-your-face-sound. And this is coming from a EB Voyager owner. And ill tell you the reason why this is exciting (to me at least). The fact that they have improved the oscillators means that at some point in the future, Mo...

MF-101 as an oscillator with the voyager?

Hey guys, Does anyone have a working setting that will properly scale the MF101 filter cutoff to be used as an oscillator? So far I have managed to get it to track up to an octave but not much more than that. I am using the CP251's attenuators for this but it only does so much. Tried it using the mi...

Re: Voyager tuning

Ive found that every now and then I have to re-tune my electric blue. The weird thing is I tune all 3 osc's to be the same at the 0 setting but after a few days (without moving the Voyager) I need to tune osc's 2&3 to -2 in order to match with osc 1. My guess is that osc1 goes slightly out of tu...

Re: How often does a Voyager need to be tuned?

With my EL Blue i find that its not the pitch that goes off that often but its the keyboard tracking for the oscillators. Actually i tuned my voyager yesterday as some of the patches were slightly off pitch. The patches that use a single osc are fine but its when i start combining the oscillators (a...
