It's been discussed to the nines, and no you can't. You need to supply the time CV in with a constant voltage.
Maybe with the 104M there is a way to mod the tap switch into a tap CV input but I don't know...

Re: Just Bought CP-251 from E-Bay. Working?
I dont know the e-bay rules about what to do with stuff. That said, open the back plate and make sure that the power jack is plugged into the pins on the board. They come loose sometimes. The LFO light should always be on when power is applied, and by on, I mean flashing at the rate that the knob is...

Re: MF-104MSD?
Crazy. I'm not surprised that it is possible - I believe some one looked at the board and said there is room for expansion. I don't like that the max & min times at the short and long are not matched as a 1:2 ratio. The other enhancements are likely pretty subtle, but probably interesting. I sti...

Re: I have the next big idea
Some of those Digitech Multi effects from the '90s actually sound pretty good. Crappy build, yes, 80-90% of the sounds are crap, but there be some gold in them there boxes - so long as you find a quiet unit. After the XP series the sounds went down hill. If you want a Moog emulated multieffects boar...

Re: Making the MF-102 with expression act as a volume pedal
Good question. Try using the expression pedal in the carrier in jack?
It sounds like the expression pedal is only covering part of the mix range. Did you adjust the knob on the EP-3?
Please post your progress or solution if you find one. I will do the same next time I have a chance to play.

Re: What's your favorite MF order?
On hte other hand, I couldn't get anything interesting but feedback using ClusterFlux loop. I could make it jump from an octave to the second higer thnaks to the square LFO, but nothing sexier. Any suggestion?... Try a delay pedal. You loose the chorus / flange effect, but gain some wow-ness. By fa...

Re: I'm sure most of you saw this ?
I think it just bothers people when a new version of what they already own comes out. It's like when a new version of software or a car or whatever comes out, it makes the older version seem inferior, even though they were perfectly happy with their version before. And there in-lies the entire con ...

Re: Anyone else ever come to the slow realization...
I've been lucky to have a love / hate relationship with a delay effect. I just don't jive with it and cant stand the sound most make - I too have owned at one time or another most on the market - Boss, Eventide, TC etc. I do have two delays, 104Z & Strymon Timeline and I absolutely love them bot...

Re: What's your favorite MF order?
Hi, the answer to this question varies for me. My go to bass / guitar rig involves the filter, ClusterFlux & delay. The filter is after fuzz & synth pedals but before eq, drive, compression & amp simulators. The ClusterFlux is usually following the amp sim, but is used to make the signal...

Re: I'm sure most of you saw this ?
I was under the impression that the slim phatty chain was a decent poly? As many of us have stated, Moog is a small company. To keep the boat floating while you do things like design a poly, or new foogers that haven't been done yet, the boat needs to float. Having another company design / build alu...

Marylin Manson. Eminem. Howard Stern. Aluminum Voyager. Change isn't a bad thing. Cosmetics? I see aluminum as a decent alternative to wood for a structural replacement. Very strong, and light, doesn't look to bad after 100 years. As long as they have created a good seal between the dissimilar metal...

Re: Power Supply Question
Try to plug your instrument directly to the MF 101, and then directly from the 101 to your amp. follow the manual for the first time use of the MF-101 ensuring all of the knobs are set correctly. There are settings where it is possible to get no sound, or barely audible sound. If you follow the manu...
