Wow this is some interesting info here, thanks for sharing it all.. don't know if you've seen this one, I was impressed on how well this guy nailed Emerson's Moog sounds from the California Jam live versions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuPeXcPdP9Y&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Be nice to see Moog come out with a keyboard controller, minimoog style pitch mod wheels, ribbon controller, arpeggiator, midi-usb-cv, etc. I like the pedals but i'm finding it harder and harder to get exicted about some of moogs latest products, ie: the moog gutiar, the newest mooger controller ped...

"moog is so close to having a modular at this point that they need to bridge the gap for people who are buying these units for this purpose. if nothing else they would have a market opening that wasn't there before!" exactly, I am gradually replacing my modular with foogers. I haven't tou...

Yes, you would be that tech... :D I remember many years ago you described a process for removing the bubbles from the minimoogs panel, as mine has a metal panel I didn't pay close attention to the procedure. Those repro panels look nice, but I believe the guy only has a limited qaunity of them still...

Try this .. http://www.sintetizadores.com.ar/ventas.php As far as repairing it..a well known synth tech who frequents this forum has a method to get rid of those nasty bubbles..not sure if it's a trade secret or not, but I remember years ago he described the process, being I don't remember the speci...

Re: Tribute Editions available?

If one came across a Tribute Edition, can we have it upgraded to a Stage II and still keep the wooden panels? Im tempted to get an LP to replace my Micro until I can afford the Voyager....just throwing ideas around? Eric There are always a few TE LP's available on ebay at any given time, unless you...

Great question  That would be a killer upgrade!

Hi all, LP Stage II's have been shipping since the 6th of May. I don't know who is getting the first ones, but I can't wait to hear what folks think of them. As for the OS2 for Stage I question, currently it is not possible to upgrade from OS 1.03c on a Stage I, to the new OS... it breaks and requi...

This information might jeopardize my decision on buying a Prophet '08 but it's an interesting explainantion. :)
DCO's not withstanding, the P-08 is a great sounding synth and is currently on my must own list along with the LP II when it is released.

Arp did it, then went out business. Alesis did it, then sold the company. Moog did with the Memorymoog and soon after went out of business. SCI did it before and went out of business. (DSI's P8 uses digital oscillators too.) Oberheim did it and sold the company. Octave Plateau was also a casualty. ...

Is MOOG even considering a poly synthesizer? Isn't it too expensive for them to make? I would love the tone and ease of use of the Little Phatty, but with at least 4 voices. I prefer 6-8 voices. Can Moog do it and keep it under $3,000? Why not??? Dave Smith Instruments did (Prophet 08) Alesis did i...

My suggestion would be to offer the existing Moogerfooger pedals as more easily rackable modules and do an ADSR and VCA combo since that's the major piece that's not there if one were to try to make a synth from Moogerfoogers. In terms of a polyphonic instrument, perhaps go the opposite route from ...

This is great news...if your a guitar player. I only hope Moog is going down the path that Arp took with the Arp Avatar the product that helped
sink the company. I would have really liked to have seen a polyphonic moog or a modular synth. I wish them luck :D
