Re: Vocoder
in the meantime, if you search the forum, you'll find Amos posted a link to a robust looking iOS sequencer priced around $10. I think it does more channels simultaneously ~ I haven't tried it yet. I have and do use this one -LITTLE MIDI MACHINE - it's totally free and works great internally with Ani...

Re: TAURUS ~ ToeTap Switch to toggle NOTE LATCH?
Thanks! ~i'm sure there must be a MIDI CC for it in that addendum list ~ and that reminds me ~ how do folks generally send MIDI CC's? I have done it with plasticy Oxygen8 and AxiomPro swiss army type keyboard MIDI controllers but I don't tend to keep them hooked up, or need them for much else. I won...

TAURUS ~ ToeTap Switch to toggle NOTE LATCH?
I'm just getting familiar with using the Taurus arpeggiator as 'step sequencer' wondering if there a shortcut to toggle NOTE LATCH _on/off without going into 'Advanced Presets'? Would be great if there was a way to do this with a toe-tappable foot-click ~ similar to starting/stopping the arpeggiator...

Re: Predictions for new Moog Products this year
I prefer having one knob per function too, but having the extra options for deeper levels that weren't even available in the old days, certainly doesn't get in the way, as far as I'm concerned. I'm not sure the number of people who prefer analog synths is necessarily dwindling. Sure laptops, iOS and...

Re: Predictions for new Moog Products this year
Yes +++ Touch Surface Control :D YES , again! A little menu diving always pays off, and then there's always the SoundTower, editor But maybe that's not what "anti-parameter" means - after all they're all parameters no matter how you go about using them via Menus, Software, Physical patch c...

Re: Predictions for new Moog Products this year
Whhhhhhaat? ~I absolutely LOVE the touch panel and can't understand how anybody wouldn't - aesthetic standpoint? Surely not aurally, so I'm guessing you mean you don't find them visually pleasing??? <shrug> I have no idea what "anti-parameter" means LOL~ do you mean you don't like scrollin...

Re: What comes with a new Taurus 3? ~ ♥ LOVE ƒor T3 ♥
I AGREE! It's heartbreaking isn't it? :( I don't understand how anyone could let a scratch like that happen to their T3. Even my own doesn't have a major scratch like that, and I left it in the hands of UPS...TWICE! The case is beat to hell, but the Taurus itself has a very minor scratch on ...

Re: Predictions for new Moog Products this year
Definitely no comparison, except for the millions of comparisons made. i guess those comparisons are of far more interest to people who don't actually have a MOOG ~ otherwise they would be busy making music instead of dreaming about impossible or hard-to-get gear  a vocoder is the most unique ...

Re: calibration woes
Good question! I USED to that with my RME Fireface FW800, until I finally fried the original power supply out on it and had to have it replaced so I make sure it gets turned off. I usually turn my Slim on for about 30 minutes or so with other gear when I get in the studio before I really start using...

Re: Predictions for new Moog Products this year
Personally, I would way rather have my Electric Blue Voyager and especially XL Minimoogs than a model 'D' ~anyday ~ simply no comparison! One vintage bit of MOOG history I WOULD like to see redone, however is a high-end Vocoder. Not some kind of dinky toy stompbox Tone-Loc junk ~ but the real deal. ...
