There is nothing cool about plastic - no matter what colour it is (or who makes it).

As I have said before, I can't see how wood increases the price by hundreds of dollars. Sure, it is more expensive than plastic, but I think most people would be prepared to pay the extra cost. In any case, wood is something we've come to associate with Moog - it's kind of a seal of quality - and pl...

I think for my money, I'd rather expand my Voyager via the VX351/CP251 and a some MoogerFoogers. I guess it depends on whether you play live or not. I am studio based and into producing records, so I don't really think it's worth having another monophonic Moog (which sounds remarkably similar to the...

Yes, apparently the Stage Edition will feature plastic sides. I know, I don't like the sound of that, either.

Sounds virtually identical to the Voyager so, from my point of view, not much point in having one, unless you regard it as an expander. Glad it sounds great, though!

Yes, but do you really need another monophonic Moog, which is inferior to your Voyager? This is the question I am asking myself. I think we need to hear the thing first, eh?

Plastic sides... Oh dear. Hang on a mo... Are we seriously expected to believe that two small pieces of wood add $475.00 to the price? Sounds a bit 'implausable' to me.

No, the Mégane can shake it's ass somewhere else, as far as I'm concerned. However, the new synth has a bit of a retro feel - it could have been designed in the 50s and perhaps that is the point, given that Moog came into being in that decade?

Import one from the States, it's easier than you think, and will still cost less than you can get it from Turnkey. Oh, and yes, there is an issue with the Moog logo - it won't be there if you buy it in the UK, because of a certain tosser, called Alex Winter.

Well, I still don't like the name, but I think the styling more than makes up for it! Will I be buying one? Depends what it sounds like, really, but as a Voyager owner, I'm not sure there will be any need. Time will tell I suppose...

Moog RAM is inspired. Little Phatty sounds more like an insult than a name for a synth!

Funny you should ask, because I honestly think it will have an adverse effect on sales. I certainly wouldn't want an instrument called "Little Phatty", no matter who it was made by.
