Re: Question concerning modern Moog synths gate voltage...

Another thought... Most CV that operate at 8v is because they are v/hz not v/octave. Unless the MAQ can be changed to output one vs the other, it may not work with all of your moog gear anyways. Gate voltage question aside, the MAQ should actually work out quite well - CV outputs are 1V/octave in &...

Re: Question concerning modern Moog synths gate voltage...

Good point on just using passive attenuators; I need to see if I can work a panel of mults/attenuators into my current gear rack.

Beatstep Pro does look interesting, but I'm pretty much out of room for any gear that can't be rack mounted.

Too much gear!

Question concerning modern Moog synths gate voltage...

I've been thinking about adding a CV sequencer to my Moog rig, and have the chance to pick up a new Doepfer MAQ 16/3 at a decent price. I would be using the sequencer with my Little & Slim Phattys and Minitaur. Cost aside, my biggest concern is the MAQ uses a gate voltage of 0/+8V, while the Moo...

Re: Polychaining over USB midi?

You could probably do it over USB, but you'll have to use a MIDI router on your PC (like MIDI-OX) to tell your computer to route the USB MIDI signals from the Sub to the Minitaurs.

Glad you're up & running again ~
Sucks about having to recreate your presets, but probably a good lesson learned for several of us!!

Good luck with the gig!! :D

Re: URGENT! problems with preset littlephatty

Try powering up your LP without any other cables (MIDI, USB, etc.) attached ~ slight chance you might have a cable grounding or signal feedback issue causing problems. (I've learned to "never say never" when it comes to weird issues that can occur because of faulty cables and feedback loop...

Re: Little Phatty not holding tune, even after calibration.

Are you letting the Phatty warm up before you start knob tweaking? Analog synths need a warm-up period before their oscillators are in tune ~ My LP and both SP are definitely out of tune - with themselves and each other - until I let them warm up at 15 or 20 minutes. (See the Note at the bottom of p...

Any chance you also did one for the MF-104M Analog Delay and/or the MF-108M Cluster Flux? :)

Re: Animoog update release?

iPad 2 owner here with ios 7.1.2. Anyone update similar setup with success? I'm running an iPad 2 with latest iOS (8.3), docked in an Alesis iO Dock v1 Latest Animoog update seems to be working fine. 8) Wow, how does your iPad run on 8.3? I've not updated because of all the horror stories (iPads de...

Re: Filtatron landscape on iPad2 ios7 not working

Landscape mode now appears to be working correctly in the latest Filtatron update -
so far, I'm not seeing any issues with the latest iOS & Filtatron running on an iPad 2.
Cool!

Thank you Moog!! :D
