If you're missing pads, pianos and strings, then Roland XV - 128-voice piano with the SRV Piano card (and you can use your synth card in it too, depending on model). Can't the A90 be given cards to make it into a synth, or was that just the older JV50/80 expansion card and/or the older A-series cont...

Really daft question but... CP/VX woods...
I have a mahogany/fire MMV, and I got my first expander... The wood is the standard one - Ash? It doesn't match. If I had one of the more dramatic - electric blue or the pale finished - MMVs, I think I'd wanted a matched wood "connector" between the VX and CP modules, which makes me wonder...

Vesta Kozo DIG-420 "Sampling Delay" - CV...
In my pile of "bits I rarely use" I have a Vesta Kozo DIG-420. It's a sampling delay unit, 1U rack, with CV/Gate inputs and a 1 second, 7.5KHz sample rate. Has anyone messed with one of these (or even heard of one) before? I'm wondering if I can use it to do anything creative with the Moog...

The buggy bit was a fear I had with the Andromeda. It looked too good to be true. I know about the voice assignment, but I was already looking at the Moog when I was trying it, and you know which way that decision went! I'm basically trying to decide if I should sell my Supernova II and get an Acces...

Id go for the ANdromeda as well, my cousin owned one and fr0om what I gather they seem to be on par with some of the better synths out there, Voyager, and the DSI Prophet. The thing with analogue modelling is that you get HUGE polyphony. Virus is what, 80 voices now? And you have all the envelopes ...

Going modular! Also Editor/Librarian 3.4.1 and Mac OS X 10.5
I just bought the VX 351 and rackmounting kit for my Voyager - will I be able to to make many interesting things with it before I have a CP-251 or any other modules? Also, I'm having problems with the Editor/Librarian under Mac OS X 10.5.6 and the new 3.4.1 update of the software. My Moog has 3.4 fi...

Keep my Waldorf Pulse, or is it redundant?
I've been somewhat of a GAS victim since 2000 - what started as a hobbyist tiny set of keyboards became a criminally wasted set of retro hardware and an OTT mixer/computer rig that I could never use. Part of that setup was, initially, a Moog Rogue that was picked up for a trivial amount of money wit...
