Dan, if you do another video you may want to hook up a MIDI sequencer to MIDI OUT and record all the knob movements and notes played as a sequence, then publish the track as a .MID file. This way people will be able to re-play what you've done and learn!

Re: Sub37 Chords
Wow, sounds exciting! After all the time with JH LVCO, I'm really missing 3rd osc in Sub37... thinking about creating a PCB with a sawtooth oscillator core, controlled by single channel MIDI2CV (MIDI comes from Sub37), with converters to square, triangle and sine. Octave selector rotary switch, fine...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
I recently updated my Sub37 to the latest 1.0.4.0 OS and the process was very smooth and straightforward. There was no knob/mod wheel movement involved or anything else tricky. Just connected Sub37 USB cable to a Windows machine, verified that "Moog Sub 37" port is listed as MIDI OUT port,...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
You pretty much already have KEY HOLD. Just press LATCH on both the FILTER and AMP EGs and your key is effectively held. True, but this only works for Sub37 itself, not for the other synths connected to it via MIDI. For me, Sub37 is an excellent controller: keyboard is superb, lot's of knobs to con...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
My 0.01 cents: 1. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have single shot LFOs ? This would add AR envelopes useful for those fast pitch transients necessary for brass sounds simulation and lots of other things. Extra entry in CONTROLLERS or PRESET EDIT menu would do it, on/off. 2. LFO fade in also would be qu...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
Excellent wish list, JazzMasta!
The only extra thing i'd like to add: implement a slight hysteresis to dampen character change sensitivity when naming patches during save... currently selecting desired character is way too involved.

Sub37 sysex specification?
Is Sub37 sysex specification available publicly? I'd like to throw together a Python script to display parameter settings from Sub37 patch sysex (parameter name, value, range) for educational purposes. It would be helpful since figuring out how the particular patch is built is tough without paramete...

Re: Sub 37 editor
I'd love to see one for sure! Even for a knob-per-function synth like Sub37 having a software editor is super useful for educational and archiving purposes.

Re: How do I restore Sub 37 factory presets?
here is the factory preset sysex file. There isn't a backup copy stored on the synth because we used the entire memory for user presets and sequences. http://www.moogconnect.net/downloads/sub37/Sub37_factory_presets_v1.zip Thank you, Amos! Luckily I have Windows 7 running in a VM on my Mac, so I wa...

How do I restore Sub 37 factory presets?
Sorry for a dumb question, I've searched here and there, forums and the docs, to no avail. Is there a magic boot time key combination, hidden GLOBAL menu entry (FW 1.0.4), or a bulk sysex file I can download to restore Sub 37 factory presets? Got my Sub37 yesterday, absolutely loved it, went through...
