Re: WTF? is shipping a warranty'd synth such a secret?
No news from Andy? He is supposedly the man in charge for the repairs and should help you on the way to deal with the shipping and handling, surely if your Sub37 is still under warranty. If he's not, he will certainly help you finding the proper person to handle the shipping and problem. Please do t...

Re: Noob question about sub 37
What you can do is select an empty preset 'Init Preset', and move slightly one knob at a time, trying to find the setting that reproduces the sound of the init preset. When you're done, your panel will be set up for a very simple synth sound, and you'll know more or less why and what does each knob....

Re: Noob question about sub 37
Hi, it can be daunting at first, no panic :-). I single click can be due to a very short and not sustaining envelope. Just turn the Amp Envelope Sustain all the way up, and you should hear a sound for each note. If that is the case, do keep in mind the envelope has 3 time parameters and 1 volume or ...

Hi Amos,
Will it be possible to order printed updated manual from the website?
Thank you so much for all the effort and dedication you put in this, that is quite unique and must be said and said again.
All the very best,
Greg

Re: Naming Presets Sub 37
Try to hoover over the position with the fine tune knob, it's the movement that sends the changing character, and if not changing enough, you'll have the same char.
I use that too and it's quicker than with the arrows indeed.

Re: S37 - Ladder Filter Collapsing!
Good news Tyler .
I was sure Moog would handle this swiftly and properly.
I hope your Sub37 will be soon back in fully working condition. Don't hesitate to give us the end of the story. It helps other to read about problems, but solutions and happy endings too .

Re: New Sub37 Patches on KnobTweak
How I did it:
I put the Sub37 in an empty slot (one with Init Preset), and played one of the syx file with sysex librarian (I'm under Mac Os X). The preset loaded in the live/temp/panel temporary slot. The one I liked, I simply saved and moved to the next empty slot to try the next one.

Re: New Sub37 Patches on KnobTweak
Hi,
is it possible to have these presets without being a member? I don't want to create a yahoo account...
maybe a wetranfer link by PM?
If not, that's it, no problem.

30 first entries: SN: SBT 00020 - Build Date: --/---- - Owner: RickRocker - Location: Far North Dallas... Texas that is - Purchased: Pre-ordered in 1/2014 - History: Got a MF-104M & Eventide Space to go with it so I could just tweak hardware. The learning curve with all 3 of them is a bit steep ...

Re: Because it isn't said enough here.
Regarding the title of your thread, I began that thread a while: http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=23117 Just to counterbalance the tendency of all forum to be a long list of problems and discontent customers, a very false image in my opinion. I also began a SN list, where every Sub...

I'd say it's a damn good ad.
The real pun meaning for me is that a Moog is so reliable it's usually taken for a dialysis machine.

Re: Sub 37, SN, owner, location list
And don't hesitate to participate to the list. Its aim is to have knowledge of these kind of questions. Are there gaps in the SN? Does Moog produce the Sub37 by batch, or continuously? Are there some SN groups that develop this or that problem. For all this, it is interesting to participate, at leas...

Re: S37 - Ladder Filter Collapsing!
Amazing support from Moog :-). I'm highly convinced that the forums always render a very difformed image of reliability, as a lot of people with no problem at all do not have to search for solutions, and do not post just to express their simple joy to own a product that's simply (and splendidly for ...
