Re: Dull Light - What is happening?

The LED gets brighter based on the LFO wave form, and the ramp starts of low if i remember correctly... So that LED always appeared dimmer than the rest when it was getting reset quicker tha...

Re: prototype

As far as I know, only the circuit boards are produced in China (as are the circuit boards for just about every other electronic device made now adays) and the unit is assembled in Asheville. On the subject of Chinese produced electronics... they are extremely good quality these days. Look at Apple....

Re: prototype

I predict the price will be around $1300-1400US. I say this because its so similar to a LP but with added features. Its more knobby (more expensive) Has a Sub Oscillator (more circuitry = more expensive) Has a Noise Source as a sound source (more circuitry = more expensive, even if its a digital noi...

Re: Predictions for new Moog Products this year

Hmmm... Dont know why Moog never re-issued the original minimoog ? everybody else has done it! unfortunately they failed for one reason or another (identity crisis?) I considered buying one of the "Welsh" ones in the 90's they were awarded a grant from the welsh office to go towards produ...

Re: Sustain broken on VCA

I would contact Moog Tech Support. I have an issue with Osc 2 being intermittent. I sent it to Moog but it worked fine the entire week and a half they had it, so sent it back. 2 months later it came back. This time I dont want to send it back, so they are sending me the suspect discrepant parts (an ...

Re: Deeper modulation at maximum index?

Maybe you can try to set the second destination on the same parameter. That should double the modulation amount available, am I wrong? Thats easier than what I was going to suggest... Haha. I was going to suggest patching a cable from the filter env CV out to the filter input jack... But if you hav...

Re: Deeper modulation at maximum index?

you must want some pretty gnarly sounds... I've found very small amounts of modulation for the sync patch you describe better than more than what the amount knob will do... shrug.

Re: LPII as MIDI-keyboard?

I dont think he cares about routing anything back to the phatty... In ableton, make sure you have LP set up as an input device in the midi preferences tab. Make sure the (i think its called "control" or "track") turned on in the midi preferences for the input. Make sure the phatt...

Re: Routing audio from Logic into Voyager filter

Thats exactly right. Assign which audio you want to go to the external input to specific audio outputs of your audio interface. Then put that into the external input on the voyager. Make sure that the external input switch is turned on and the other oscillators/noise are turned off. Switch the KB/Ga...
