Re: MP-201 midi clock sync...

The concept worked. The application didn't. To control our tempo's via the MP-201 and then have the metronome sync' off it works... But changing between tracks is far more difficult and awkward plus I need to have loads more presets set with extra tempos available. I wasn't comfortable sorting it as...

Re: Humming fooger

Well... I opened her up today. She looks fine inside. I applied copper shielding tape to the inside of the wooden walls and ran a strip of or from the footswitch to the walls as well. It looks lovely. It hasn't helped in any way though :( Thankfully the noise is not heard when playing as it's only t...

Re: Humming fooger

Thanks for this buddy... The green pedal is a rather rare Boss PN-2 Tremolo/Pan... AMAZING on bass! I have isolated the issue to being the Ring Mod itself. I have the same issue with this pedal regardless of wether it is on the board, or, as I found today, powered in a different room with a differen...

Re: Humming fooger

It's most definitely electrical... Like touching the jack cable from an amp against something metal... Deep bass 'EERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR' kinda sound, though low in volume an very low. Past the point of frequency roll off on my cab so I'd suggest around the 20hz point - I can feel it rather than hear it...

Re: Humming fooger

Hey,

It's doing it with multiple power supplies/outlets and on a shared power supply with the rest of my pedalboard (which is how it is generally powered).

I'm going to have a peek inside as soon as I get chance and check no dry solder joints etc...

Humming fooger

I noticed today that my Moogerfooger Ring Mod is emitting a sub-level (SUPER low frequncy) hum when you touch it, which can be 'grounded'/muted by touching another pedal or one of the jacks else where on the board. I only noticed this with my Streamliner 900 amp up at max looking for the cause of a ...

Re: MP-201 midi clock sync...

Thanks for that bud... Annoyingly I also have my Cluster Flux and an Eventide Pitchfactor off the same clock source and to my ear try appear to be bang on all the time. The MP-201 jut seems to decide on a daily basis if it wants to be super accurate or play on Reggae half beats! :) How would I use t...

MP-201 midi clock sync...

A question I have been unable to answer for myself for the last 18 months - I've been able to 'deal' with this, but if someone has an answer then great! My MP-201 is sync'd to receive midi clock data from an alesis SR-16 drum machine, which also produced the metronome that myself any my drummer play...

A few questions about volume

I'm considering picking up an Etherwave having played recently with some smaller DIY Theramins a friend has and been inspired to mix one into my live set. For those of you that currently use one… I'll be using it as a second instrument along side live bass/synth bass and want to be able to turn to i...

Re: Foogers live

Hey dude,

The Slicer went to SiBob over on Basschat. It was a great pedal but I found I coup create similar patterns with my Moogerfoogers and Sample&hol LFO's... And then I bought the Eventide Pitchfactor!

Re: Foogers live

Time for another update I think!! Took a decent camera to the studio today so I though I'd take some snaps that look a little sharper than those off my iPhone. Before anyone says it - yes, I know the Polytune Mini is upside down! http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h44/pantherairsoft/Amp%20Cab%20Pedal...

Re: FreqBox MF-107 crackles (clip insdide)

I apologise if I'm missing something, but I hear no 'crackle' in that demo. I hear the distorted sounds of my freqbox. To me, that demo sounds exactly how the pedal is supposed to sound in my experience... or am I missing something?

Agreed - Vibrato it does fairly well, tremolo it does poorly. 102 is king for a tremolo-style effect.

Trade my MF-103 for your MF-105B

I have a MF-103 12-Stage Phaser and would like to give an MF-105B a try.

Anyone up for a trade? I can throw in a few quid, or a fuzz pedal to balance the deal...

Cheers

Re: Thread for MF-108 pics/recordings

Just in case other were not aware - I stumbled across this yesterday http://www.moogmusic.com/products/moogerfoogers/mf-108m-cluster-flux#downloads-tab New Firmware for the Clusterflux. Fixes the bug where by midi will not work if the midi cable is connected during power up, as well as adding more m...
