KNOBZ.NET - Autumn pictures and Moog Sounds

I just uploaded a video of autumn pictures me and my wife made in the countryside where we moved this summer. Most sounds are Moog LP and Moogerfoogers (except for the piano and flute and the snare). The choir-like sound is LP through MF-103 and the rhythmic structure is CP-251 noise to MIDI Murf sy...

Funeral March

A third track for my Summer Requiem EP

This time a Funeral March... summer is no more...

I was obviously in a autumn, hanging mood ;-)

Only the "x files-like lead" is LP, the rest is Apple Logic, drums are BFD2

Re: Good amp for LP?

Although I generally agree with EricK that LP's spectrum is out of a bass amp range I would recommend that You check out Roland Cube 60XL Bass Amp (or the bigger one, 120, can't remember). It has a midrange coaxial speaker, it sounds nice (not much high end though), but You get amp simulation, delay...

KNOBZ.NET Update - New Synth Tutorial

KNOBZ.NET has been updated with a new synth tutorial.

This time we look at some drones and stereo filtering.

Re: A relaxing track for You

Just finished a second one. The "bleeps" part are two MF-101 low-pass filters with resonance with opposite sample and hold voltages applied, some envelope follower and me tweeking the resonance. Essentially the improvisation is played by the mashine itself, I do minor tweeks. Some MIDI Mur...

Re: New Tune: "Monochromatic World"

Love the bass that starts around 1:55. So deep!

The arpeggiated bass sounds like Moog LP or is that the Voyager?
I like the groove and the Moog lead (could use more reverb or delay).
Not really fond of the pads (maybe some reverb would help, they seem "small").

Very nice track.

Re: A relaxing track for You

Thank You for Your kind words on my track and my site. I hope to update soon. I'm in the middle of building a house and a stable with my wife, so things are pretty tight right now. I tried to record a stereo filtering tutorial yesterday, but after I've set up the gear a beatiful sequence emerged, I ...

A relaxing track for You

As a kind of passing summer requiem I made a nice, relaxing track feat. grasshoppers that I recorded in the countryside (where I moved permanently 3 months ago). Kick, crash, e.piano, vibraphone, pads from Logic Bass, Sequences, Effects and Lead voice - LP arpeggiator, MidiMuRF + 2xMF-101 for stereo...

Re: Multimode filter

Ebbe und Flut looks amazing, but the price is a killer.
I'd prefer a standard rack or desktop/pedal, I'm not really fond of the eurorack format, once You go eurorack there is no going back ;-)

Re: Can LFO Modulate the VCA on the Phatty?

If Your LP has a CV Out Mod (which You should really consider :-) you can patch Mod Out to Volume out, I'll try this when I get home and let You know if it works. You may need a CP-251 to set the Offset of the volume CV so You'll get desired volume with tremolo.

Multimode filter

Any suggestions for an analog multimode filter with CV?

So far I've found:

dotcom
vermona filter/retroverb lancet - that's my top pick at the moment

ideas?

Re: New Moogerfooger Suggestion

I'm running out of space too. The space at the bottom of the second rack is reserved for some guitar pedals. If I was to get a 108M I would have to build a third rack, I plan on getting a dotcom sequencer and a vintage oscilloscope in the third of forth rack ;-) http://knobz.pl/foto/rack1.jpg http:/...
