Re: Realistic MG-1 Polyphony
I haven't had the chance to watch the whole series, but it is definitely inspiring and makes me want to drag out my original MG-1 and get busy with the overhaul! Speaking of which ~ Mark / museslave - I do have the overhaul kit (mine is definitely a victim of the dreaded gunk!!), but was wondering i...

Re: Picked up AniMoog - Thinking of selling my hardware
Animoog is cool, no doubt ~ But I look as it as a way to supplement my Moog hardware, not replace it! (Especially now that half of my Moog gear is no longer in production, and in my mind that makes it "collectors" status... ) Since you have an iPad, why not combine it with the Slim a...

Re: Little Phatty - put presets in order of a song/repertoar
If you're willing to use an external controller to change your presets, you can open up all kinds of possibilites! You don't have to use SYSEX messages - MIDI program change messages are MUCH easier to use (less cryptic!), and should do exactly what you want it to do. You could set up a bunch of Pro...

Re: Phatty Instrument Definitions for Cakewalk
Thanks and thats quite a Moogy rig you got Stuka...I have got two Slim Phattys (one for left hand bass, the other for right hand lead or the occasional two part harmony)...but your 3 Phattys and a Minitaur rig - well its beyond words really... Yeah, it's a bit "overkill" ~ I definitely fe...

Re: How do I chain a Sub Phatty to a Little Phatty for Polyp
Hi all, I was wondering if I can chain a Sub Phatty to a Little Phatty to get a polyphonic instrument. I tried it this way but it didn't work: 1. I ran a MIDI cable out of my Little Phatty to the MIDI In of my Sub Phatty. 2. I turned on MIDI DIN MERGE on the Sub Phatty. 3. I connected the MIDI OUT ...

Re: CP-251, 104M and?
You might want to think about routing your computer audio and Slim Phatty (audio and CV connections) through a patchbay, then mount your MoogerFoogers where you can easily reach the back panel I/O connections. This offers a LOT of flexibility in effects routing, and a bit of "old school" ...

Re: Little Phatty Tuning problem.
Sounds like you need to run the calibaration routines. Recommend you let the LP warm up at least 30-45 minutes, then run all the calibration routines (pitch wheel, note, pitch wheel amount, and OSC2 frequency) in the order listed in the manual (starting on page 45). Takes a while to run everything (...

Re: cc constantly outputting?
If you hook the MIDI output of your LP to a MIDI monitor on your computer (like MIDI-OX for Windows) it should tell you exactly which CC message is being sent. You can cross-reference that to the LP's MIDI implementation chart in the manual to identify the message being sent. Make sure you haven't i...

Re: New Little Phatty / Slim Phatty firmware to test
Little Phatty code is so complex and inter-dependent... ... - Amos Dear Moog Staff, Would Moog ever consider opening the source code for the firmware? Especially for discontinued models/lines (like the L/Slim/Stage Phatties). This would create much hackery fun..... I wouldn't count on that anytime ...

Re: Minitaur v3.0 editor and v2.1 firmware released!
Editor (DAW version) does not work in FL studio. It recognises it but says that there's something wrong with the plugin, so it doesnt open it. I CANNOT scroll trough prestes on hardware device, i have to press vco's ALOT of times to change a preset. That makes me useless live. Did you apply the fir...
