Sub 37 vs Model D

I've got a specific question about the sound of the sub 37 vs a Model D. I have a sub 37 already and have dialed in a very smooth beautiful bass sound that I use as the primary sound in my band which as some of you know is a folk and improvisational jam band. I am thinking about getting a Model D to...

Re: Sub 37 Editor v1.0.0 & Firmware v1.2.0 is now available

There was talk about a firmware update that would improve the velocity sensetivity on the sub 37. Is that a part of this update?

Re: Religious

I picked up a Mother-32 tonight after selling my Sub Phatty. I loved the sub, but I wanted to go in a different direction. Tonight I had what can only be described as a religious experience. I've already said the sub Phatty was great, but this took my imagination to new heights. I only had one patc...

Mother 32 tuning

Just checking in with any owners of Mothers. I've got two and have had them for a month or so and one of them is already out of tune by about 2-3 notes. I know how to fix it but am just wondering how common this is on the Mother -- the owners manual says not to mess with the calibration often as it ...

Loved them both. Wish they had been around for when my daughter was learning this stuff. The music is great and the animation is also. I especially like the counting one.

Sub 37 to Mother 32 problem-- help!

I connected my sub 37 via midi to my mother 32. I used a midi cable from the midi out on the sub to the midi- in on the mother 32. Then just played the mother with the sub's keyboard. I had audio cable going out of both units directly into my speaker. No other electronics involved. After playing a f...

Re: connecting two mothers

Ended up talking with someone at Moog. He seemed a little confused about it so he pulled out two mothers and set them up exactly as mine were. It is possible to get all of my mothers to track and play the same note and octave but it is not possible to get them to all have the same octave light showi...

Who is to say she did not see Jesus in the mirror? I don't think the guy was Jesus though... I think therein lies the rub. You are willing to give credibility to things only if they conform to your belief system. The guy was jesus christ just as much as the girl saw him in the mirror and the person...

Re: connecting two mothers

Set the octave indicators the same - lights will be lit up in the same place on octave scale - and press one of the little keys (probably lowest key) Incidentally thats how you transpose while sequence playing - choose octave and press whichever key in that octave scale you want How are you patchin...

unfiltered37-- You siad- "I think you are trying to lump in the mystical experiences you speak of with drug experiences, which is not accurate in my opinion. I have read many accounts of LSD and hallucinogenic trips, and they're far more similar both in nature and scope to the experiences I hav...

Re: Religion and Politics thread coming soon....

Erick-- I have sat in on a number of courses on biblical history. It does seem to me that if a person does not believe in God, or does, or does of a different kind then there is an immense bias in that person when looking at any text from any point in religious history. I have serious doubts about a...
