Re: Moog One ?
When you say MOD slots, do you mean in the traditional Mod Matrix style or individual ones from separate sections ?

Re: Moog One ?
I'm glad to see that the Moog One has existed for over a year and a half, in a beta testing mode, before coming to market. That should provide a more mature instrument and firmware than offerings from other companies, often too eager to push less-than-ready products out of the shop. Although I'll ce...

Re: Moog One ?
Well. I must admit that I was wrong. And I'm glad to do so. The Moog One IS a reality. :D Now, I'll have to sell my Sequential Prophet REV2, Behringer DeepMind 12, Oberheim Matrix-6, Korg DW8000, Ensoniq SQ80, Boss DR880, Alesis Ion, and probably a lot of stuff that I don't really use anymore, and t...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
Here's that mighty Minimoog D (circa 1975) jamming with its friends from Sequential again.

Re: No Reply From Moog Support?
Maybe they are prioritizing those that have perhaps more pressing concerns, like a defective product ? I don't know. I'm just guessing.

Re: Post your latest purchase!!
Having owned, and currently owning many synths, some with SSM some with CEM and some with Moog Ladder, I can safely say that the Moog outshines all of them as a lowpass filter, hands down. The SSM2044 comes very close though. The worst is probably the current DSI120/PA397/CEM3396. That is what's ins...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!
Congrats on your purchase GregAE.
The SSM2044 is indeed a sweet sounding filter. I remember it well from my Korg Mono/Poly.

Re: Moog One ?
Don't forget that analog synthesizers is a niche market and very small, so in order to survive small companies like Moog Music Inc and Dave Smith Instruments have to make a huge profits on each unit sold just to stay alive as a company... Behringer is already in China and has its own factory there, ...

Re: Moog One ?
I didn't see the words: "chords", or "polyphony", or "simultaneous multiple frequencies" anywhere in that trademark application... But then again, it's just for the name Moog One, not really a patent application for the device itself...

Indeed, the JUCE library is the property of ROLI Ltd in England.
But it could possibly be licensed to Moog Music ? I don't know.

Re: Moog One ?
I own a DSI REV2 16 voice polysynth. And, although on paper it does offer a lot, in reality the sound just isn't on par with a possible 3 oscillators per voice Moog, with 16 of the the famous ladder filter. The Behringer DeepMind 12 (which I also happen to have) sounds great too, when used with Unis...
