Another bass/drum/synth tone poem, this one featuring the Sirin with some Big Briar MF-104 analog delay and my Rickenbacker 8-string bass:

Re: Moog One Output Signal Distorted
Did you see this post in the thread that laamusic posted? https://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=32884&start=15#p175508 In your original post you say you have the volume on 8 - this would be approximately 3:00. The statement from Moog referenced in the link states: "Their clai...

Re: Little Phatty Stage II - unsteady volume output
The only thing I can think of to suggest is to exercise the knob. Not sure if these are self-lubricating though. I have an LP Tribute and noticed something similar with the filter frequency knob. I can't remember if I got it to work better or if I just got used to it - obviously not an acceptable so...

Re: New Sirin User (set up issues with audio interface and midi usb and ableton live 10))
That's great you got it working! Just wondering, in case someone else has a similar issue - what was the problem? I remember when I first got ProTools on a laptop (summer 2002) - I never would have been able to get started without a few basic pointers from a friend. Oh yeah, post some music in the &...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
Finally recorded something with my SIRIN! Controlled with Roland PK-5A pedals, recorded into Zoom H6, after the fact I put it through my CAJ V-Comp tube compressor, MF-101 & Alembic F-2B preamp to mellow the direct signal (the Alembic was probably overkill but didn't feel like redoing the signa...

Re: where is everybody?
Just now I typed a reply, hit submit, and got a blank "post a reply" page - it ate my post! Fortunately I was able to hit the back button a few times and retrieve it. The forum is still a bit wonky for me but I think it's probably just my "old" computer (2013 MacBook Air) ...

Re: New Sirin User (set up issues with audio interface and midi usb and ableton live 10))
What an awesome gift! I can't help with the Steinberg or Ableton, but a couple of basic questions - have you listened to it via the headphone jack? Are you sure your MIDI keyboard is triggering the SIRIN? The little MIDI light underneath the bird image at the upper left should light up with each not...

Re: Taurus III software upgrade
Hey out there , yes my T3 has been sitting in its road case forever and now the bands back at it ; was wondering if are any downloads to the T3 unit. And if there is what would be the necessary steps in downloading. Thanks sooo much. Congrats on getting back in the game and on still having your T3!...

I've been hit with the CAPTCHA once here. It is annoying to have to copy your posts to prevent them from being lost - the time you forget is often the time it happens! I also get the "checking to see if your browser is compatible" message with the three bouncing dots (though of course it's...

Re: Minitaur question
It looks like the CP300 has MIDI out so you should be able to use it as a controller. (Sorry I got so excited about bass pedals!) How will you be recording? If you're recording into a DAW (digital audio workstation) then you don't really need an amp, you can plug the synth directly into the computer...

Re: Minitaur question
Yes, you will need a controller. I believe the kora is a stringed instrument? You may want to consider triggering your Minitaur with bass pedals, so that you can play the Minitaur with your feet while you play the kora. You might be able to find a used set of Roland PK-5 or PK-5A pedals (not current...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
Yeah, I find the mudbucker pushes distortion & fuzz pedals differently than something like a P-Bass or whatever. I'm glad I discovered the world of analog synthesis around the same time - I realized that the fuzzed out mudbucker was like an oscillator that I could process like a synth. I don't d...
