Re: Favorite Pedals
I've got the MXR Carbon Copy analog delay. I really like it a lot and recommend it because it's relatively inexpensive and it's analog. The one thing I'm not too fond of is its lack of tap tempo, but I do alright without.

Re: Analog Polysynth?
Multi tracking, while very cost efficient (if you've already got a monosynth) offers limited expression and is rather clunky when one just wants to let the creative juices flow. I'll often be playing my Phatty and wishing I had just three more voices so I could get nice harmonies going without havin...

Re: Analog Polysynth?
Dear Analog Organist: thank you for not scoffing at my bringing up an exhausted topic. Now, I know it had been discussed to the point of no return, but as the Analog Organist said, regardless of how Bob felt about polyphony in synthesizers, that is the most logical direction for Moog to take at this...

Re: PolyTheremin
I loved this one, as well as the auto pitch from last year! Would anyone care to post a list of all of Moog's hoax products?

Analog Polysynth?
Although it is not something I personally would be able to afford, I think there is a revived market for analog synthesizers, and I believe Moog releasing a polysynth would be a warmly recieved move. Professional studios would be a huge part of the market I'm sure, and I'd love to walk into a music ...

Re: Tell us about your rig
I don't think I am going to re tolex it. I like the wood, its just a question of getting the wood to look nice. The one thing that's bugging me right now is the key action. When I picked it up yesterday it had several sticky keys. I did a key easing job and that seemed to help a lot, but there are s...

Re: What moog does Daft Punk use?
Daft Punk uses two Minimoog Voyager RME's (Rack Mount Edition). Just a Voyager without the keys.

Re: Tell us about your rig
What year is it? it was built May 14th of 1974. All the black material was stripped off by the last owner, so I've decided to sand down the wood frame and refinish it. I haven't gotten the chance to pair it with my Phatty yet, as I purchased it from a store in Minneapolis. I live in Duluth and I wo...

Re: Osc sync stepping?
This may seem a bit naive, but does this mean that the little phatty does not have a 100 percent analog signal path?

Re: Tell us about your rig
I play a Little Phatty stage II and, as of today, a Fender Rhodes suitcase 73! Already did some soldering and key easing work on it. It sounds amazing!

Osc sync stepping?
When I sync my oscillators and sweep the frequency knob, I noticed it stepping instead of smoothly sweeping. Is there something wrong with my LP?

Re: Best wishes to the Pacific friends.
A friend of mine has a lot of family in Japan, and I guess they aren't doing well. Her grandparents got separated in the chaos, and her uncle was trapped inside his office building. Prayers for their safety.

Re: Just played a Roland Gaia at the store
I also played with the Gaia when it came out, and I was not impressed. I would never consider buying one for myself at this point. However: I do commend the panel layout of the Gaia, and I think it's great that Roland designed it sans-LCD screen. No menus means faster, easier, more hands-on programm...

Makeshift Taurus
Has anyone considered the possibility of building their own Taurus with your Slim Phatty? All you'd really need is a pedal controller, which you could make out of an old Taurus pedal set, or a set from an organ or something.
