- Topic: Will the MOOG DRUM 1130 work with VOYAGER?

Hi what I did with my 1130 was to connect the power supply to the MicroMoog and the black cord to one of the inputs. Then I put the red plug into one of the CV ins on the voyager. To do this i had to put the units back to back because the 4 way Y wasn't long enough to really divide between the 2 uni...

I don't knoa baout the stain. There is a spot on the top to the right of the voyager name that looks a tiny bit doscolored. You know though I have had alot of heartache since i bought this synth. I actually considered getting a refund. I hope that they will take care of me though. I am practically l...

Real Analog Control? No digital processing?
Okay in the days leading up to the LP's release, i was asking myself what the RAC controls were all about. It said "A true analog synth with no digital processing" I knew that the Voyager was a hybrid analog digital synth but i didn't think that it processed the sounds at all. Can someone ...

Actually i thought about the old MicroMoog too. THe poormans Mini. (So ive read it dubbed) But you know in some ways the MicroMoog is fatter then the Voyager? Im curious to know about the open system capabillity of the LP. THe LP has 2 oscillators though the Micro has one. If you go look at the spec...

Those synsonics drums rock haha. I dusted off mine after about 15 years and recorded half of my electronica album with them. They rock for running them through various kinds of processors and delays. THe latest i ran them through was my Ring Modulator. Mine is growing a bit unstable sometimes not ke...

I don't particularly care for the name MoogerFooger either. I just think that someone on a creative team could come up with something better. Look at all the examples that we have come up with in the other thread. Well i still think the name sucks hehe. WHats in a name right? (Except the Moog name w...

I always associated the Moog name to be a distinction of class above all other brands. THe quality of the instruments that they produce in my opinion is unmatched. If you look back at the craftsmanship and the suality of the sound that comes out of them, you know that it isn't a second rate company....

Eureka! THe moog drum has a super long cord that has a wierd splice and then branches out into 4 parts. THe power pin, the C-J, and the 2 plugs. THe only problem was that the cord was a little short so i had to tily the voyager back and do a back to back connection. I connected the red CV plug to th...

Try a Synth or even a theremin to the Ring Modulator with a slow vibrato. THen run that into an Electro Harmonix Bass Balls unit. THe Bass Balls is a Dynamic sweeping Filter. So its similar to the 101 in the essence that its touch sensitive, so every time the Ring Mod vibrates, a vowel like overtone...

Moog Drum to Control 2 Moogs at 1 time...an experiment!
High. As some of us know, the Moog drum has the accessory plug that only fits in the Micro, Mini, Sonic Six, the Multi and the Satellite. It has a red CV Plug that will control the SCALE and a black regular output jack. It also has a C-J S-Trig plug. Im going to connect the 1130 to the MicroMoog's p...
