What is the box beneath the sherman filterbank? It looks kind of like a racked prodigy with memorymoog style knobs.

Here is where you can find the parallel/printer port adapter. It allows you to use your PC's printer port as a source of 16(?) Control Voltages to control your Moogers, CV Synths, etc.:

I've damaged many speakers with my MF101 and other similar equipment. Both amp speakers and moniters. Very easy to do if you're not careful... even if you are careful.
