A tune about a Voyager on a spaceship.
Here's a Voyager laden track. I tried to limit myself with this one, so only three other synths: Little Phatty, an old Yamaha TX81Z (for FM goodness), and a Machinedrum UW. Apart from that there's only a small amount of processing. It's called Citamsuoca http://soundcloud.com/praxisaxis/citamsuoca

Re: Triggering LFO with Keyboard
Usually the envelope is the way to go, for sure. But I'm trying a thing with a swell on the attack, but following it with a repeated LF "wobble" whose rate can then be controlled from the touchpad. I can achieve a similar effect using the envelope (and the LFO), but the waveform of the LFO...

Triggering LFO with Keyboard
Hey, simple question. Setting the LFO sync to KB results in the LFO being triggered by the keyboard; however, is there anyway on the voyager (electric blue) to specify which part of the waveform gets triggered? When its source is the triangle, when set to KB the triangle gets triggered at the crest ...

Voltron with womp bass LP
Hey, here's a song I've done recently about Voltron. Thought you might be interested to know how "wompy" you can make the phatty if you push it. The way I got this bass sound was to design a fairly aggressive patch, put the filter poles down to 1 (which makes it more angry), then while inc...

Re: Ouch...
This might say something about me but I get the same feeling from looking at this as I do from looking at a picture of a corpse.
(then again, I get a similar feeling from looking at brand new Voyagers as I do from looking at pictures from Playboy).

Re: Steep learning curve with my Voyager OS
With regard to the tuning: * When initially experimenting with the oscillator's sound, do this: Put your cutoff freq mostly or all the way up; Try one oscillator at a time. The former is because you won't hear as big a difference between waveforms when the cutoff is rolled down, the latter because i...

Yep that's a lovely room I've already got a Voyager, so I'm afraid all I've got left for you is room-envy.

My new Voyager and LP synced bass tune
Hey, I can't find a thread for putting your tunes in here (ie in the Voyager forum). So hopefully it's okay for me to just post it.... Here's a track making extensive use of Moogs; in particular the Voyager and the LP sit unison in octaves together throughout most of it to provide a fat bass line. H...

Re: Voyager and LP join forces
Thanks :) No, I long since over-wrote most of the factory presets. These days I use the LP much like a traditional synth and I don't fret too much about storing the presets. That's because the LP is so simple, it doesn't take all that long to dial up a patch, and this is good for finding a unique so...

Re: Voyager and LP join forces
Thanks guys. Nillerbabs, I'd say the LP is less complex, in operation and in sound. But in addition to that, I think the LP has a unique tonal quality, although it's hard to put my finger on or describe it properly. They certainly sound different - even purposefully attempting to make them sound the...

Voyager and LP join forces
Hey, I've had my Voyager for about a month. Here's a tune I just finished which uses it + the LP in abundance. Please enjoy :) :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBoWsA57_Ks All the bass is the Little Phatty which I believe still stacks up pretty well against the Voyager in the fat bass stakes. It ha...

Re: Post your tracks!
Wow, thanks JWaltman. To be fair to everybody here, I'd better post this link: http://www.synthgear.com/2010/music-misc/remix-large-hadron-collider/ But the LP handled the lion's share of the remainder of the sounds (as per normal in my electronic music... although now I have a Voyager, I'd better s...
