I love the look of the Little Phatty, and I prefer the red/orange lights of the Stage. Wooden ends would be nice, but I like it even without.

I think a high-pass filter is a must have.
Band pass would be nice too.

Re: Polyphonic Moog Feature Request

Please make it where a Voyager can sit on the top. Eh, seems like a huge waste of space. Buy a keyboard stand for that. I'd prefer it to be small. And cheap. But amazing sounding. And have lots of knobs. I know I'm asking for way to much (small, cheap, analog, lots of knobs...the impossible dream)....

Yeah, that is its normal "internal" routing. It wouldn't be any different than just turning the Amount knob up to 10.

But don't be afraid to plug things in and see for yourself. You won't damage anything by trying.

No Moog poly? There was a recent thread over at Harmony Central discussing the potential of a Moog poly, and just last night someone bumped it saying "...the future looks bright". http://acapella.harmony-central.com/showthread.php?t=2551829&page=4 Near the bottom of that page, controlv...

Very cool! I've thought about doing a modification like that but I just don't think it is worth the trouble. It's great to run across one already done for you though!

Glad to hear you're back up and running. I've never had a single glitch with my LP, not even during the OS 2 upgrade (I haven't done the latest one though...will wait until the next revision). Just from reading this forum there seem to be quite a few people with problems like this, but in every case...

I'm still using my Eurorack modules for this function, as I posted last summer. But this module truly IS the "missing link" for an all-Moog modular. You said it perfectly. I'd be the first to order one if Moog made this box. My CP-251 needs a partner in that little rack mount tray! For tho...

The m-audio Trigger Finger has better pads imo than the MPC1000. I had a MPC1000 and the pads were stiff and ridged I'll agree with that. The main attraction of an MPC would be the sequencer. If you don't need that, just get a MIDI controller. I have the Korg padKontrol and I think the pads on it f...

I'm going to be a little harsh here. The user interface of the Little Phatty seems to have been designed for a price point. By only having four parameter knobs and a bank of buttons beneath them, it gets the guts of a Moog synth to customers at a relatively cheap price (cheap by Moog standards). If ...

Drum machine - check out the Korg ER-1 Electribe. They don't make them anymore, so you'll have to find one used. Thom Yorke's solo album reminds me of the sounds you can get with it.

Hi and welcome to the forum! You picked an awesome "first synth". The sound quality will spoil you. :)

You said you had a couple of questions, but didn't type them. So, what were you going to ask?

Or, if you have any software that can route an LFO to the audio path, or if one of its oscillators goes down into LFO range, you can use the audio straight out of your computer as CV, like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_1Ujvun3iQ You won't get as wide a range as the CV from Moogerfoogers. I ...

...which, by the way, Studio Electronics totally ripped off with their Orion synth. Were these ever produced and sold? I remember the news announcement a year or two ago, but I've never seen them for sale. Maybe they are special order. http://www.studioelectronics.com/images/ORION/images/2008-an-ori...

I totally agree, except... I remember this as the "early to mid '70s" idea of what future technology would look like. That design style started in the 50s but was still popular through some of the 70s. A good example would be the furniture designed by Eero Saarinen in the 50s. I only know...
