Re: Share your synthesizer music!

One of my recent works for my forthcoming Existence is Futile EP: http://soundcloud.com/mahatma-dali/buried-alive-by-the-sands-of You need some professional help. Absolutely brilliant piece. I need to go take a shower. Feeling very dirty after that one. Hahahaha. Thanks, Sir Nose. I admit that I'm ...

Re: Design a cheat sheet for Sub Phatty hidden parameters

Here is a cheat sheet I made; I hope it helps! In very-much-related news, the editor is shaping up nicely, and will make all parameters easy to see and edit all at once. Until then, try this pdf: http://www.moogconnect.net/downloads/phatty/SubPhatty_infographic_v1_1.pdf cheers, Amos Aftertouch Scal...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

Brooding, like David Lynch. Are you using the Sub Phatty's noise generator for some of this? Hahaha. Thanks, mate! "Buried Alive by the Sands of Time" is 100% Little Phatty SE II, when referring to its synthesized content. A third of "Year of the Serpent" was done with the Sub P...

Re: MiniBrute Pitch Out to Sub Phatty Pitch In

FYI the Slim Phatty arp works grrrrreat and sends MIDI out, too! ~ However, the MicroKorg I owned (grey one?) and resold did NOT send arp info via MIDI  ALSO — for those on iOS check out this amazing little app — and yes it's FREE: http://syntheticbits.com/littlemidi.html Thanks, Pete. What venues do you speak of in the DMV vicinity?

Re: Sub Phatty post-release firmware v1.1.0

This is a global setting; you can choose to use always the real mod wheel position, or to load a saved mod wheel value when switching to a new preset (the current mod wheel position is always saved when you save a preset). Ah, so it is fixed on what the mod wheel was set at upon saving the preset. ...

Re: 102M?

Personally, I'd prefer that it was not an reiteration of an already existing Moogerfooger. I'm very much itchy for a new one after having consolidated my Moogerfoogers down to the ones I use most consistently.

I'm kind of trying to ween myself off the collector's kick.

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

Excelent work mico!! Really great sounds and heavy beats. What do you use for the beat parts?? :) Why thank, Igor. I very much appreciate the endearing feedback. :) The percussive arrangements were made using an array of Chang Chang, Djun Djuns, Taikos, Shime Daikos, Tabla, and tribalesque Tom drum...

Re: Sub Phatty post-release firmware v1.1.0

I haven't got time to test the firmware yet, but have you tried using other sysex utility to update your Sub Phatty? I did and to no avail. So what I ended up doing is checking if my interface (iConnectMIDI) needed a firmware update. It did so I performed the update for it, converted to the "n...

Re: Sub Phatty post-release firmware v1.1.0

don't worry, just connect USB and send the new firmware sysex! I should have been more clear, with the LFO LED blinking like that it's ready to receive the firmware now. The MIDI LED blinking faster means that there was an error during the previous attempt (via DIN)... watch the MIDI LED during the...

Re: Sub Phatty post-release firmware v1.1.0

When the update is done, should the 'Activate Panel', 'Pitch Amount', 'Hard Sync', 'MIDI' and 'LFO rate' stop blinking? I'm asking because I sent it over via C6 through MIDI DIN In and they are all still blinking. they should definitely stop blinking, and the Sub Phatty should restart. This suggest...

Re: Sub Phatty post-release firmware v1.1.0

The Sub Phatty will boot to the new OS and will be ready to use as soon as the firmware update is complete. Thanks for the instructions. I have C6 of which I use for my Octatrack. When the update is done, should the 'Activate Panel', 'Pitch Amount', 'Hard Sync', 'MIDI' and 'LFO rate' stop blinking?...

Re: Sub Phatty post-release firmware v1.1.0

Nope, no risk to patch memory. You can always export your presets as sysex before you do the update, just for the extra sense of security that a backup provides. :) Hahaha, thanks for that. It has been a while since I last updated firmware with Moog, I believe since the last major firmware update w...
