Re: *tron band

No tron in the name, but your description reminded me of these guys... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5sU5_u2gT0&feature=player_embedded damn. soo good. haha. Wow thanks!! I knew the stuff but I was kid so I did not even remember that! Plus I had heard a sort of reinterpretation on a anthology...

Re: Reverb for Little Phatty

I just love my Cathedral's character. If you're after something that tends to be more guitarish than Massive Atack revebs, without being necesarily muddy, the EHX is the one.
I like processing synths as guitars :)

Re: Off topic.. Microphones and electronics?

Off-off-topic... sorry.

An alternative could be a vintage harmonica microphone: they do saturate, they don't need any preamp. However they don't have any mute switch AFAIK.

Re: This is what I did with my Minimoog today...

Nice vid Alien! Pristine recording, suggests landscapes... cool :) About a polyphonic synth... funny because I'm looking for one to learn synthesis a friend of mine. I'm quite surprised nobody introduced the Nords or Virus (A or B, keep this moderately old school) in the blooming debate. Is there an...

Re: repeat 'fooger question for all you moogers

Wow, now THAT is weird :) Namahshaman, I'm the lucky user of a MF104z and an EHX DMM w/TT. I ordered both at the same time and received the MF first. I have to say I was disapointed since it doesn't get mad that easy. Repeats are quite dark -I know, everyone is saying so and you've read it a lot... ...

Re: MF-104???

Bucket Brigade chips are harder and harder to find. Electro Harmonix have the same problem. Every now and then they find an old new stock of chips and go for a batch of delays. The Deluxe Memory Man with Tap Tempo is one of these, before they stopped it. Then came the DMM w/ Tap Tempo 550, which use...

Re: Little Phatty & Guitar Pedals - Testing

I am considering getting a Pog too. The POG2 is amazing. Sounds really great on guitars but I'm not sure about using it with synths. I was about to get one but I don't need it. We used a POG for a while on the LP. Some patches sounded great, some just sounded like a bunch of calculators complaining...

Re: Do you like free music?

That is good music :)

Listening to PFSF right now as well. Don't know why but "redcedar" sounds me... somethin in a movie, maybe...?

BTW the Hammond sounds are really cool, well mixed.

I say bravo!!
