Double 904A VCF Modules
So, am I understanding correctly that having two 904A Lowpass filters is the only way to get a stereo filter sweep for, say, recording purposes? In theory, I would be routing both outputs to two separate trunk lines going to stereo left and right into the interface? I'm curious to learn a little mor...

Re: Moog IIIC vs. Moog 55
So does anyone have any knowledge/experience/resources on the 984 Matrix Mixer (besides Moogarchive) and what it does exactly? Allows for polyphonic oscillator sources to be mixed and EQ'd? I can't find any video demonstrations of a Moog IIIC using it's matrix mixer (doesn't mean there aren't any, i...

Moog IIIC vs. Moog 55
Awesome news to hear moog is reproducing the Moog IIIC! Curious to hear others thoughts with more modular experience on the differences between it and the System 55? Other than the seemingly most obvious ten 901 series oscillators taking the place of the 921s. Even that, I'm not sure exactly how big...

Re: Voyager XL as Model 15 Modular Controller
Hi there... sorry for just coming into the discussion so late. I've noticed the thread was started back in February. I too have a Voyager XL and Model 15 configuration. Are you still facing some challenges? Yeah Man! Glad you could join in with some of your wisdom! I really haven't had as much time...

Re: Model 15 at 115v??
'hum' meaning that there is low frequency vibration coming from the power supply or an audio hum coming through the VCA output? I ask because my Model 15 suffers from the former, and I'm not happy about it. In fact, I let Moog know when I first received it and recommended that they dampen the power...

Re: Voyager XL as Model 15 Modular Controller
Hi, The model 15 is duophonic in and of itself, albeit in a limited way. Since you own a modular, think about the Voyager in modular terms now and think about both instruments as part of a single system. You have an insert jack on the Voyager from which you candirectly access the unfiltered oscilla...

Re: Model 15 at 115v??
I might have missed it, but ... does it work with the correct voltage selection on the PSU? Sure does. 115v selected on the PSU on the back of the Model 15, plugged into the Furman Power conditioner and it turns right on no problems. There is a slight hum coming from the unit, but I assume this is ...

Voyager XL as Model 15 Modular Controller
Hello folks, I just received my Model 15 a week ago... my first dive into real analog modular synth territory! :D As I make my way through the manual, trying to digest it all, I have a few questions. There is already a post in the forum about this topic (http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&...

Re: Model 15 at 115v??
110V = 115V = 120V Here in the states, you'll see any number of these listed on faceplates, wall warts, electrical outlets. And actual voltage will vary based on your home distance from the grid, whether it's the dead of summer and supply and constrained, etc. I've seen voltage in my house range fr...

Re: Model 15 at 115v??
I'd check your voltage rails for +12 & -6 volts just to put your mind at rest...! Thank you so much for the info! So, if I'm understanding you correctly--no real changes except for operating at slightly higher volts, therefore ever so slightly higher temperature? How might one go about checking...

Model 15 at 115v??
Hello all, First post here, so please excuse my lack of familiarity with power concerns on modular systems. I JUST received my very own Moog Model 15 and noticed it was not powering on because on the back the switch was set to 230v (which I assume is European standards?) rather than 115v. My unit wa...
