Re: Should Roland and Korg get back in the analog market?

I would like to see Korg, Yammie, Roland, etc. go into analogue only if it introduces something new and different sounding or has an interesting user interface. I certainly don't want to see another remake of classics like an MS20, Jupiter, etc. Otherwise, more digital synths like Roland's V synth w...

Re: voyager patch from planet Nebulosum Antaris

I made a patch awhile ago that sounds very much like it. Right now I can't get to my Voyager,so I have to go on memory. I remember cross modulating the oscillators. The pad probably modulates the cutoff and/or the waveform of one of the oscillators.

Re: voyager patch from planet Nebulosum Antaris

Sounds like it might be cross modulation with some mods applied to the x/y/a pad.

Re: Need help with programming LP Stage II bass

Here's a great thread about the whole Thriller album and what synths were used. If you read all of it, Bill Wolfer, one of the synth session players for the album, tells what he knows about the making of Thriller.

Re: settings

I'd say that is exactly what he is doing. Perhaps Osc. 1 is 32' and Osc. 2 is 16'. He then has the triangle LFO modulating the filter and changes the LFO speed by hand. Amount is probably close to wide open, and his modwheel is turned up to whatever he feels is need. It's a nice simple but cool sound.

Re: Bugs in the Voyager Editor

I am indeed in the wrong thread and apologize profusely. I walked away from the computer for a short while and forgot to check what thread I was on. Sorry. And thanks to Amos for answering my question.

And now. . . . back to the "Bugs in the Voyager Editor" thread.

Re: Bugs in the Voyager Editor

I don't have an issue with my Anniversary Edition Voyager's keyboard, but I am curious as to what kind of keyboard I have. Mine is not closed on the bottom; it has what appears to be some metal bars. Would that be Chinese or Fatar?

Thanks the THEBUZZ. I appreciate your comment. I try hard to make my sounds a bit different. The Voyager is such a joy to play in this style of music.
