I've discovered that the octave switch on the oscillators can sit between notches. Does anyone know if doing this has any adverse side effects?

My Sweetwater rep just called and said my synth has arrived. He said it is shipping out to me today.

The manual says the OS is updatable via SysEx, but nothing about the firmware. They could be separate things (though they are usually one and the same). So, I don't know.

My Slim Phatty does that occasionally. I simply turn the synth off, wait a second, and turn it back on.
