Thank you for your reply, i will research the difference between the roland pads, and my yamaha pads, I have a midi converter, however i want to use midi from another keyboard to select the notes, while splitting the signal from the pad to trigger the envelope.

I had the same problem occur on my synth a few months ago, i called moog, they sent me a new board, it was very easy to replace, a few screws and plugs. If your synth is not under warranty the board is only about $80. to resolve your problem call moog (800)948-1990
